Fatigue

You use ointments, creams, and likely very potent prescription medications, yet it fails to fully address the problem. That’s because, on many occasions, the problem does not reside on the outside of your body, but on the inside. Particularly, within the gut. 


Many skin conditions can be affected by changes that happen within your gut microbiome. The skin has its own microbiome as well, which can shift as the guts do. Things like food sensitivities, nutrient insufficiencies, and an imbalance in sun exposure can shift both the gut and skin microbiome in unfavorable ways.  Once you can restore balance and health to your gut and the microbiome, we can remove the interference that’s potentially preventing your skin from healing.

Cardiovascular diseases (heart attacks, stroke, hypertension) are the #1 cause of death in the western world. That means we want to do nearly everything we can to prevent and slow the onset of these diseases; we want to be preventative with our heart health. At The HIVE, that means being very thorough with our cardiovascular risk assessment: full family medical history, lab work beyond just the standard cholesterol panel, and identifying the root cause of your hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol. 


In many instances, it’s these so-called “co-morbidities” of diabetes, high blood pressure, and dyslipidemia that are driving your likelihood of cardiovascular disease. Using nutritional, movement, and sleep hygiene habits, we can begin to address these root causes and do everything within our grasp to delay the onset of these chronic diseases. We also urge patients to maintain their regular visits with their Primary Care Physicians and Cardiologists if applicable.
