"There is a vast difference between treating effects and adjusting the cause" - Dr. DD Palmer
Chiropractic is a form of healthcare that targets how the body handles stress. Throughout the day our bodies are bombarded with physical, chemical, and emotional stress. Our brain and nervous system process these stressors and determine our body's best method to adapt and handle the stress, until the stress becomes too great and our body can't handle it anymore. This overwhelm leads to what we call subluxation and if your subluxations are not addressed, your body can be more susceptible to stresses that lead to sickness, pain, and dysfunction. Chiropractic focuses on removing subluxations to improve nervous system function and your body's ability to adapt to stress so that we can live our best life.
Chiropractic care is delivered through a series of adjustments which can look very different depending on your age, your exam findings, your symptoms, and your preferences. Adjustments remove the subluxation or the interference within your nervous system. Less interference leads to greater overall functioning! Our chiropractors always take their time to perform a thorough evaluation and help you understand what is going on with your body, in addition to explaining what you can expect from your experience with us!
Kids have stress too! Think about it, between the pregnancy, the labor and delivery, and rapid growth and development your baby has been through a lot. Sometimes this stress can manifest as difficulty sleeping, torticollis, digestive issues and colic, ear infections, delayed development, or so much more! Dr. Hailey is passionate about educating parents on the power of chiropractic for kids. She loves helping give children the best start in life and optimizing each step along the journey. Dr. Hailey has completed hundreds of hours of additional training in pediatric chiropractic care and loves seeing the changes and growth of our pediatric practice members. You know best when it comes to your baby and we are honored that you trust us with your most precious gifts.

Dr. Hailey loves helping families grow and supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, and beyond! She is certified in the Webster Technique, has received Perinatal Certification through the ICPA, and has worked with hundreds of mothers through their pregnancies to achieve balance in the pelvis. With balance of the joints, muscles, and ligaments of the pelvis, your baby will have room to grow, develop, and position themselves for labor and delivery. Many mothers that have chosen chiropractic care during their pregnancy have reported more comfortable pregnancies, smoother labor and delivery, and better birth outcomes! If you're dealing with stresses like round ligament tightness, pubic symphysis dysfunction, sciatica, or lower back discomfort, prenatal chiropractic care may be able to help. You and your baby deserve to enjoy this exciting time in your lives!

Overview of expectations for your experience at The HIVE Natural Health Center
New Patient and Day 2 Report appointments are longer appointments that often involve a 30-60 minute time commitment. After these appointments, visits are much shorter and easier to fit into your busy schedule.
How do you adjust babies and children?
Pediatric chiropractic adjustments look very different than adult adjustments
Infant adjustments are very gentle and effective and typically involve the amount of pressure you use to check a ripe avocado or tomato.
Sometimes Dr. Hailey will use a tool called the Activator with our littlest practice members. This allows her to set the exact amount of pressure needed and deliver a quick impulse.
Like adult adjustments, pediatric adjustments address stress within the nervous system and work on releasing patterns of tension.
Will you do the same thing my last chiropractor did?
